Who will produce the first Greener Computer?
Most major computer manufactures have now committed to remove some of the worst hazardous chemicals from their computer scrap products. However this is only by the end of 2008 (Apple), 2009 (Dell, Lenovo, Acer).
In an industry that moves very quickly, especially in response to consumer demand, you need to challenge the industry to see which company will be the first to put a greener computer on the market.
Write to the CEO’s of the major computer producers (HP, Dell, Sony, Lenovo, Apple, Fujitsu Siemens, Acer, Toshiba) to challenge each to be the first company to offer a computer free of the worst hazardous chemicals.

When I next need to replace my computer I would like to have the choice of buying a greener computer.
Your company, along with others in the industry, has improved environmental policies and promised products free of the most hazardous chemicals in 2008/9.
My challenge to you is to be the first company to put on the market a computer entirely without the worst chemicals (Brominated flame retardants, Polyvinyl chloride) to clearly demonstrate your leadership in greener computing.
